  • Race 38.4% White alone, 19.9% Black or African American alone, 0.2% American Indian and Alaska Native alone
  • Ethnicity 40.1% White (Non-Hispanic), 20.2% Black or African American (Non-Hispanic), 10.2% White (Hispanic), 9.63% Asian (Non-Hispanic), 7.48% Other (Hispanic)

Prince William County has an eight-member Board of County Supervisors which makes policy for the administration of the Prince William County government within the framework of the Constitution and laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and a County Executive. Seven members are elected from Magisterial Districts, while the Chair is elected at-large. The board adopts local laws, sets policies, adopts a budget and capital improvement program, sets local tax rates, approves local land use decisions and makes appointments to various positions. They are as follows:
